"Daisy"

We got home last night from CHOP. Daisy still has a hoarse voice and cough with gaging.She still not eating like she was but we see alittle improvement from last week hopefully with in the next few weeks she will start doing better. We hope this will avoid surgery for a little longer. The surgery is a stomach wrap. so the reflux won't destroy her vocal cords and larynx ect. which is causing the larynx spams that cut off her air way. Thats why she is having blue spells and passing out and we have had to use the ambubag to force air in to unlock her airway. When Daisy had her gtube put in her body rejected the stitches and she got an infection it took the incision a long time to heal... Hopefully Daisy will be stronger and healthier before we have to do surgery. We still have the picc line for a few more days just to make sure she is doing well before they take it out.We are looking forward to spending time home with the boys and maybe we will get to bake some cookies.....
