We hope that everyone has had a happy and healthy holiday,and a Merry Christmas.Daisy got to spend Christmas morning at home with her brothers and sister.We can not THANK enough the the Secrect Santas that provided Christmas for our children.Specially the ones from pleasant valley Intermeidiate School and the Santas from the Finderne First Aid squad in Sommerville NJ,and of coures Daisy's nurses for makeing this a wonderful christmas for our family.The nurses are truely Angels with out them life would be impossible....Daisy was admitted back into the Childrens Hospital in Philadelphia on Christmas day due to GI issues. She started running a slight temp,she is leaking fluid around her g tube site,she vomiited after a small bolus of fluid and tummy pain. She has been sleeping alot and not tolerating the overnight feeds. They did an x-ray of her stomach late Friday night and her intestines where filled with air.At this time they are going to try adjusting her stomach meds in hopes that this will ease the situation if not then she will have to have a nissen wrap done to her stomach.
