Daisy did not do well with her feeds yesterday or last night. They did find the cause of her problems she has c-diff infection in her intestines from all the antibotics she has been on the past few months. How ever it will take time for her system to heal and be able to handle regular feeds again. The doctors started her on oral vancomycin (?) and increased the erthomycin to increase mobility in her digestive system. They are talking about releasing her if she can tolerate a 50/50 mix of formula and water at a lower feed setting even though her calorie count would be way down they are hopeing that with time her system would return to normal.
