We would like to thank everyone for thier support and continued generosity.
The prayers, encouregment, and donations have really helped.YEsterday Daisy had a good day.The dressing change went well, and she was up and looking around most of the day.It wasn't till the evening that she sarted getting fussy and giving us a hard time eating. She does have several new blisters on her hands and alot of new spots on her face that will turn into blisters. Today mommy and Daisy will be going outside to plant a garden of daisys.

After some wrangling with the Aetna they are going to cover the antibiotic.
As for Daisy she had a great dressing change today Dana reported that there was no new blisters today and that daisy was pretty calm for the change.Daisy does have some stomach issues since this afternoon she hasn't been eating much, and what she does she has been spitting back up,also she is full of gas.
But the good out weighed the bad and that is a good day, unless of course you are Dana and hopeing to sneak some sleep in and Daisy's tummy won't co-operate.

Daisy has had a busy weekend with peopple coming to visit her and say hello. She loves her la la ladybug play mat and looking at all the hanging toys on it.She also loved being outside in the sun.As for her dressing change yesterday we had to have Jessica bring bandages from the medical supply store in Hacketstown because we have run out of some of the supplies needed to do the change. So a big thanks to big sis!She does have several new blisters/sores on her stomach that now requires that we wrap her stomach up,also her face and far head have 2 large blisters and some smaller ones as well.We have been informed that the antibiotic for the mrsa staff infection is not covered by AETNA and will cost us about $350.00.We do have a call into her case worker there but as of this time have not received a return call.We do have some of the antibiotic left from the last time wich will be used up by monday morning, but she has reacted well to the antibiotic her fever is down and she seems less cranky.
We would like to send a big thank you to POLK elementry school for thier dress down fund raisrer for Daisy.
Thank you everyone for your continued support and prayers and now that they really do help.

Daisy's infection culture has come back positive for MHRSA.She has been running a fevor for the past couple of days and has not been eating as much as she normaly does, and has had bouts of throwing up after eating. She has several new blisters on her stomach and is now getting them on her face. Her thighs and butt are still blistering and Dana had to pop several today during the dressing change. With all of this Daisy has been very cranky and up most of the time crying.
We would like to thank everyone for thier continued support and words and prayers of encouregment.
