We are home! Daisy still has the rash and hoarse voice but we were able to come home last night. We go and see the Derm on Monday so hopefully we can stop the meds then. Daisy and I are looking forward to time home with Dad, Shawn and William. Thank you to every one for the prayers and support. The Shermans

Our 6th day at CHOP.Daisy is not feeling better, The rash is worse her temp is up to 100.5 and dressing change was rough today. The doctors don't think it the yeast causing the rash so The doctors ran some viral test and if not viral then the rash can be from meds. I felt bad because we thought we were going home today but things change quickly with Daisy. Shawn and William we miss you and thank you for being so good about haveing to stay with others and up root yourselves.Thank you to those who help with the boys I know it has been alot lately.I want you to know we are and the docs are trying our best to get Daisy better to come home soon. I pray that we will have a long time home together soon..... Positive was when Dad came to visit, Daisy and him danced for a short time and it made her smile. Thank you to the staff at CHOP and to everyone for your prayers and support. Wishing you all a good night, The Shermans

We are still at CHOP.Daisy is doing ok. Friday evening they put the piccline in.Sad to say they told us we can not use the right arm anymore the main vein has been scarred. Even though there is no small vein access in the left they were able to get the picc in the top of the arm.Saturday we noticed a rash on her leg. Today she woke up with no voice and durning dressing change the rash was on her tummy and arms. Infectious Disease thinks its a yeast infection and is starting another med tonight. I had to cancel the trip Minnesota. We will try to go in March after we have the baby and Daisy hopefully will have a stronger aimmune system..... Positives we had fun visit with the boys yesterday and Daisy had fun playing cards with William. The docs found the problem before we went home..... Please pray we get home soon and stay home through the up coming holidays. Wishing you all many blessings The Shermans.

Happy belated Thanksgiving!! Daisy got to have thanksgiving lunch with her brothers before heading back to the hospital. Her feet, left leg and all of her glands are swolllen. Her left foot is read and the redness is now running up her leg. She has been running a temp on and off.Her heart rate is elevated. We brought her to Chop yesterday and today they are placing the pick line. The culture results are showing heavy MRSA,psuedomonis and strep.Even though she has her miserable moments she continues to amaze me with her ability to smile and laugh through most anything.Thank you for your prayers and support for Daisy and our family.
